SUP guidelines: Everything you need to know
The SUP guidelines include a package of measures to reduce the proportion of plastic in litter and in the sea. The first measures started on 3 July 2021. For example, at the time there was a ban on, among other things, plastic plates, straws and stirrers. On this page you will find all new updates and important information.
New guidelines: On-site consumption vs. consumption to-go
Starting from July 2023 and January 2024, new rules will be introduced, distinguishing between on-site consumption and consumption to-go. The measures apply to all food packaging that contains plastic.
Everything about the SUP surcharge and waste management contribution for packaging
As of January 2023, a new law will come into effect that will make some of our products more expensive. This is due to the “SUP surcharge” and the “Waste Management Contribution for packaging” that we are required to pay starting in January.
