Disposables that are FSC® certified are made from trees grown under responsible forest management, thus preserving forests. This prevents deforestation, which is important to reduce CO2 emissions and combat climate change. When felling trees, FSC® takes people and animals into account. The forest is divided into compartments and each year trees are harvested in a different compartment, so that the forest can recover.
