Sugarcane (pulp) is a natural waste product and is therefore also called Bagasse, derived from the Spanish word for waste. Sugarcane products are made from the pulp that remains after the juice has been separated from the cane. Using heat and pressure, the pulp is compressed and shaped into the disposables that you see on our virtual shelves.
